This year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is fiercely competitive across all categories. And the Kumerican musicians are out in full force, prepared to leave their mark on the music industry.

Kumericans have indeed taken over our airwaves and TVs with massive hits. Their consistency is very admirable as they dominate whichever genre they find themselves in. And the VGMA 22 is no exception to this rule.

The ten slots allocated for the Best New Artist category has six solid slots fully filled by prominent Kumericans. Who will bring the title home? Gyakie, Amerado, Dead Peepol, Kofi Jamar, Kweku Flick, and Yaw Tog.
Or will a non-Kumerican carry the title? The other nominees are Bosom P Yung, Camidoh, Mr Drew and Larruso.
